#TBT Wraps & Acrylics..

OH if only I had known this back in my nail salon days! I used to work the front desk in a medical practice where people saw my hands - so I got acrylics, every other Friday with my girl Mandy, spending $30 a pop! Then, 3 days into my mani I would break a nail. Now my expensive nails look terrible, and I can't fix it myself. No, I have to wait until I have time to drive across town and wait just for someone else to fix that nail for another $5. Where was Jamberry then?! Ok fair enough, the company is new and just wasn't around...but I would have been so on board!! I loved my long nails, and the wraps actually act as a protective layer on top of the acrylics, helping to prevent damage. Plus, no more pink&white boredom! You can change your wraps at home, on your own time, as often as you like and it won't damage your acrylics!

Throwback Thursday - Purple & Silver Crisscross!!!!

SUPER excited about this one!! What a fantastic choice - kudos to Jamberry Corporate!!  I've never had access to this one before! Remember that these 2 wraps are only available for the next 4 days starting tomorrow (Thursday Aug 21), and I highly doubt they'll ever be seen again!  I'm thinking of picking up 2 sheets of Purple & Silver Crisscross, and a Gilded Leapord as my third wrap - but which one to pick as my free wrap? OH THE CHOICES!!! Maybe Rose Gold Sparkle? Any ideas? HELP!

I'm going to miss Gilded. It screams New Years Eve!!! So I looked in my yet-to-be-revealed-to-the-public Fall/Winter catalog and I don't see any holiday wraps to ease my worries! Our festive wraps will be revealed shortly...so the suspense is just killing me! Jamberry TRŪSHINE Gel Enamel System!

 GAME CHANGER OVER HERE!   So normally I do maintenance on my Jamicure at day 5 - I refile the edges to prevent lifting, and sometimes do a little reheat and smooth to reactivate the wrap adhesive and ensure another week of wear. This is well worth the time because I love my Jams. But wait...SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! Jamberry has released a full DIY home gel system!!! Not only can this be used with a stunning new line of gels and lacquers, but you can also cover up your wraps, thereby protecting them and extending the life of your mani even longer! It's like encasing your wraps under glass..like art work..I love it! Day 6 and it looks like day 1!!!!! My nails are rock hard and growing like CRAZY under the protection of the gel!       

THROWBACK Thursday!!

No, it's not JUST for 5 year old Facebook photos! Jamberry has been resurrecting some discontinued wraps every other Thursday all summer! It gives me hope that our current Going, Going, GONE favorites could someday make an appearance for #TBT but who wants to take that chance? I'm stocking up on GGG now! But I digress..how CUTE the Vibrant Pinwheels?!  I like the Fuchsia Houndstooth but I think they would also pair well with a sparkle wrap! What do you guys think? These are available only for this weekend..don't hesitate! No one likes Jam regret.

The August Style Box was just revealed!!!!  Honestly, I never would have picked these wraps on my own, but that is exactly why the Style Box is so amazing. It pushes me out of my comfort zone, which can be found at the corner of metallic drive and sparkle street most of the time..so in comes a nautical theme! AND..dun dun dun...did you see from the video that there appears to be an accent sheet from the new Fall/Winter line? EEEEEEK!! The new line won't even be available until September!   

HOLD UP - the August Sisters' Style wrap, available only for the month of August, ALSO has a NAUTICAL feel to it!!!! I wonder what the founding sisters have been up to! Sailing vacation perhaps? I LOVE the idea of getting Style Box wraps, combined with the Sisters' Style wraps, and then creating a unique mixed mani! LOVING THIS!!!  Do you have any suggestions for wrap pairings? Questions?
